Pembrayr Consulting is a Property Development and Project Management Consultancy established by Peter Thorne Dip BS MRICS, in April 2003.

Since formation the company has secured commissions;

  • To co-ordinate the management of the pre-construction phase of a £45M Business Park.
  • To manage the development of a £18M mixed use hotel, leisure and retail development.
  • To negotiate the financial settlement of a £13M retail and leisure development.
  • To evaluate the development potential and thereafter secure outline planning consent for the development of a 5 acre mixed use commercial site.

  • To manage the preparation and submission of a speculative bid for the provision of a 20,000sqft office development to be leased to the government.
  • To manage the development of a 17 unit residential development on a brown field town centre site having an end value of £2.1M
  • To co-ordinate and manage an application for the development of a £30M mixed use retail and residential development which included a major supermarket and 104 flats, on a contaminated site which contained listed buildings and is subject to flooding.
  • To manage the development of a £7M residential and retail development on the site of a former petrol filling station within the city centre.
  • To manage the development of a 39,000sqft Business Park on a 2 acre former Bakery site.
  • To manage the development of a 100 unit low rise residential development on the 11.5 acre site of a  former textile mill.
  • To find and acquire potential sites for quality nursing homes; to manage the acquisition and planning application process.

Peter Thorne is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 25 years practical experience of development and project management within the commercial property industry.  Having started his career as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Peter moved into Project Management and then Development Management.  Detailed CV's of key personnel can be provided on request.
